Merely relying on the P90x program is a big mistake. Healthy eating during the program can greatly help your muscles building process. Whether you’re losing weight or building muscles, you need a proper nutrition. After all, to have good workout result you need enough energy. Muscle confusion is what makes P90x a high end program. No other program employs this idea. Throughout the 90 days, there are no repeating movements so that your body would not get used to the same exercise. Since your muscles don’t get used to any movements, they are constantly under training and will become bigger and stronger. In the process, you also need a healthy intake of protein. The nutrition plan will take care of this. It lists all the necessary foods you need to eat. You should not neglect nutrition and just focus on hard working out.
Before you do exercise, please make sure to drink enough water. The best time to drink water is 2 hours before you perform P90x program. Even though you do not feel thirsty, you would better drink some water every 20 minutes. After you do intensive exercise, the amount of water you take should equal to the weight you lose.
